The Bichon typically stands just a tad under a foot in height. This breed is well known for its hypoallergenic velvety white coat, topped off with a rounded head and jet black eyes.
Bichon Frise is a very malleable breed, as they get along with almost everyone including other dogs. They are vigilant making then a nice little watchdog. But do not get them confused for fighters they are lovers by nature, they see strangers more like new friends. They are very easy to train, and their joyful personality radiates positivity everywhere they go.
Grooming A Bichon Puppy
When it comes to caring for this hypoallergenic coat brushing is recommended at least two to three times a week. Bathing should be a monthly routine along with a nice clipping. They do shed even for being hypoallergenic, but the shed hair gets caught by the undercoat. Brushing helps remove dead hair and prevents uncomfortable mats from forming. And to prevent pain and discomfort nails should be trimmed regularly.

Bichon puppies are considered average when it comes to activity levels. There will be long periods where they are calm with short bursts of high energy. Because of their tiny structure, they might be able to receive enough exercise indoors. Daily play sessions paired with walks should suffice a Bichon’s exercise needs.
